Sabah Mohammed Amin Al- Rayes 

Sabah Al-Rayes , born in Kuwait, graduated in 1965 as Civil Engineer with minor in Architecture and Metallurgy, from Indiana Institute of Technology, Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA. Complemented in 1984 by a Doctor of Engineering Honoris, Causa degree, from the same university.

Mr. Al-Rayes commenced his professional career in the Ministry of Public Works, Kuwait. Then decided to aim for playing an active role in the on-going-transformation of Kuwait into a modern state, realizing the importance of infrastructure in achieving this goal , he left the Ministry of Public Works in 1968 to establish his own firm, Sabah Al Rayes Consulting Engineers (PACE), which rapidly developed into Kuwait’s leading multi-discipline consultancy office. Corporation with entities such as the Kuwait Fund For Arab Economic Development, Arab Fund for Economic Development, Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA), Islamic Development Bank, The World Bank – primarily for projects in Africa and the Far East. PACE also gained multi-discipline experience serving the government, corporate and private sectors, designing more than 1,000 projects, worth more than two billion Kuwait Dinars covering Kuwait, Africa, Asia and the CIS countries including several land mark projects. Mr. Al-Rayes sold     his share in (PACE), in October, 2011, and established,       Al-Rayes Consulting Engineers.
